Suite Niagara

Niagara Falls is one of the truly awesome sites; you can see it, feel it, hear it, even smell it. The power of it is visually arresting, evoking feelings of the sublime. I went to Buffalo thinking I would photograph one thing and came away with a totally different experience. I guess that is how it works. Suite Niagara was made during an extended residency at CEPA Gallery in Buffalo, NY. One month of shooting in two two week stints allowed me to spend time photographing daily and as a result I was able to re-examine and return to find out more. It was a grand experience.

I want to thank Nikon, Leaf America, and Particularly the good people at CEPA for their support and of course ongoing help from Museo Fine Art.

The photographs are printed 24"x30" on Crane Museo Silver Rag using Epson UltraChrome ink, by the artist, in an edition of fifteen with five artist proofs.
